Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk Events a Success

One rainy walk, and one sunny day -- but weather won't stop us from Stepping Up!

Here's a message from the DSAmd Board President, Brooke Williams:

“What incredible days! On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Down Syndrome Association of Maryland, our incredible staff, and my family, thank you for joining us for this year's Step Up for Down Syndrome walk-a-thons in Salisbury and Baltimore.

Seeing so many familiar faces, welcoming new friends, and celebrating together at our new location made the day truly special. From hearing our self-advocates take the mic and share their voices to connecting with one another and supporting a cause that matters so deeply, every moment was a reminder of the strength of our community.

Because of your support, we can continue providing the programs, resources, advocacy, and connections that empower individuals with Down syndrome and their families throughout the year.

Most importantly, thank you for showing up and showing the world what is possible when we come together. Everything we accomplish is because of you, and we are incredibly grateful for your commitment to our community.

With gratitude! - Brooke Williams, Board President & Programs Committee Chair, Down Syndrome Association of Maryland (DSAmd): president@dsamd.org
