Introducing the 2026 Board of Directors

Join us in giving a warm welcome to the 2026 Board of Directors of the Down Syndrome Association of Maryland.

Hailing from counties across Maryland and beyond, we celebrate and thank these amazing volunteers who dedicate their time and talent to the Down syndrome community.

This team - along with DSAmd staff and contractors - brings together lived experience, professional expertise, and a shared commitment to building a more inclusive Maryland where every individual with Down syndrome can thrive, no matter their zip code or luck.

Welcome to our newest members this year:

- Dr. Clay Smith, Pediatric Neurologist, Kennedy Krieger Institute Down Syndrome clinic

- Frances Vance, parent advocate, I.T. Technician, Atlantic Technology Services

- Jasmine Stone, parent advocate, employed with Chimes

- Jeff Morgan, Journalist, WMAR-TV-2 News

- Sri Bandi, parent advocate, employed with Exelon

Thank you for your leadership to our full board of directors, past and present. This organization would not exist without your vision and talent. Thank you for helping us help individuals with Down syndrome!
